Fête du VOID 2026

1. Assumption of Risk:
The Participant acknowledges and understands that attending events and being present on the Property involves inherent risks, dangers, and hazards, including but not limited to, those associated with physical activities, uneven terrain, natural elements, interaction with other individuals, and the use of facilities and equipment. The Participant voluntarily accepts and assumes all risks of injury, damage, or loss to their person or property that may arise from or be related to their presence on the Property and participation in any events or activities.

2. Release of Liability:
The Participant, for themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Property Owner, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers (hereinafter, "Releasees"), from any and all claims, demands, actions, and causes of action of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether in law or equity, arising from or related to any injury, damage, or loss to the Participant's person or property, including personal items, caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, while the Participant is on the Property or participating in any events or activities.

3. Indemnification:
The Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with the Participant's presence on the Property or participation in any events or activities, including but not limited to, any acts or omissions of the Participant, any breach of this Waiver, or any violation of any rules or guidelines established by the Property Owner or the event.

4. Damages and Losses of Personal Items:
The Property Owner shall not be responsible for any damages to or losses of the Participant's personal items, including but not limited to, vehicles, clothing, electronics, or other personal belongings, while on the Property. The Participant is solely responsible for the security and safekeeping of their personal items.

5. Property Owner's Responsibility:
The Property Owner agrees to take reasonable measures to ensure the safety and security of the Property and its attendees. However, the Property Owner does not guarantee the safety of all individuals or the prevention of all accidents, injuries, or losses.

6. Safety and Security:
The Participant agrees to abide by all safety rules, guidelines, and instructions provided by the Property Owner or event organizers. The Participant acknowledges that they are responsible for their own safety and the safety of any minors accompanying them.

7. Respect Agreement:
The Participant agrees to treat the land, property, and other individuals attending events or present on the Property with respect. This includes refraining from any disruptive, destructive, or disrespectful behavior.

8. Right to Remove from Premises and Legal Action:
The Property Owner reserves the right to remove any Participant from the Property immediately if, in the sole discretion of the Property Owner, the Participant disregards the rules and guidelines set by the event or by the Property itself, or engages in any behavior deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive. In the event of a breach of this Waiver, the Property Owner reserves the right to pursue legal action or any further necessary actions to protect its interests and enforce the terms of this Agreement.

9. Governing Law:
This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

10. Severability:
If any provision of this Waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11. Acknowledgment:
The Participant acknowledges that they have read this Waiver, understand its terms, and voluntarily agree to be bound by them. The Participant further acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to seek legal advice regarding this Waiver.
